Apple unveiled a refreshed iPad mini earlier this month and launched it this week. With that out of the way, Cupertino is shifting its focus towards Macs – and it has a whole week of announcements lined up.

Apple’s SVP of Marketing, Greg Joswiak, posted a teaser on X, saying that the announcements will start on Monday morning (west coast time, obviously).

What should we expect? A while back, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the company is working on an M4-powered Mac mini. It will allegedly be even tinier than the current mini, close to an Apple TV 4K in size.

There should be other Macs with the Apple M4 too, because right now the latest chip is only used in the 2024 iPad Pros. This could include new 14” and 16” MacBook Pros as well as a new iMac.

Apple is also expected to reveal more powerful Pro and Max versions of the M4 too. Some sources claim that the new MacBook Pros and Mac mini will be available with a choice of vanilla M4 and M4 Pro chips, with the laptops also having M4 Max as an option.

Models that we don’t expect to see refreshed next week include the MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro – that will be left for next year.
